After being home for two weeks, we are getting settled into life as a family of five. Maggie and Maura are now four weeks old. They have become individuals with their own personalities.
Blake loves his role as a big brother. He is helpful and considerate. I am so proud of him and how he has adjusted.
Andy went back to work today after two weeks at home. Maggie, Maura and I miss having him around today, athough we are getting along splendidly. I am greatful that I still have two months at home before I start back to work.
We took advantage of the warmer weather yesterday and went on our first family walk. It felt wonderful to get outside. Blake was not certain that he wanted the adventure to end, so he and I went for an extra trip around the block while Andy and the girls went inside. If you were in Grandview yesterday and saw a tricycle speeding down the sidewalk, that was Blake. He and Andy have had many soccer/football/hockey games this winter, even in the snow.
